I am a graduate student, scheduled to complete an MFA in Creative Writing at Wichita State University in December 2010. For the past 20 years I have been a full-time writer and have 16 nonfiction books to my credit, including the first biography of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, which was published by Berkley/Penguin USA in July 2010. My biographies of prominent women in politics has given me many opportunities to lecture on the subject as well as media appearances on national and international TV and radio. I earned an MA in English at Texas A&M and have taught English literature as an adjunct at Emporia State University (KS). Currently writing a novel as the final project for my MFA and working on a new recital program as a professional (but meagerly employed) classical singer, I am thoroughly enjoying the lifestyle of scholar, writer and musician. My websites are antoniafelix.com and antoniafelix.blogspot.com.
